Spherical, Round Horse Hair, Copper + Walnut Paintbrush
A Brush made with sturdy horse hair bristles, a handcrafted copper ferrule, and spherical black walnut handle.
For stippling, scrubbing, and applying broad strokes. Use these to create unique marks with acrylic, oil, underglaze, slip, watercolor, and ink.
Bristle length: 2 1/4” long
Handle length (including ferrule): 3 1/4” long
Handle diameter: 2”
Overall length: approximately 11” long
Hand wash with a gentle soap, reshape, and allow to dry. The handles are waxed and will occasionally require a reapplication of wax or oil, once fully dry.
Horse hair is donated by a neighbor, trimmed from her beloved animals in Wallowa, Oregon.
