Pine Needle Slip Brushes

Pine Needle Slip Brushes
Slip Brushes made from pine needles + tied with natural hemp cord.
These are all intended as dual-ended mark making tools. The pine needle tips work more intuitively as a brush, while the tightly bound ends are perfect for scratching, stippling, and general etching.
Choose Style:
Short Flat - 4 1/2” long
Long Whisk - approximately 9” long
Wide Flat - 5 1/4” long x 1” wide
Washing not recommended. Wipe off excess slip with a damp sponge and allow to dry. Trim ends as necessary to maintain brush shape. If/when the needles become brittle, moisten with a spray bottle or place the brush within a damp, hot towel. This will help to add needed moisture + flex. Make sure to let them fully dry in a cool place.
These brushes are fully bio-degradable. As with any brush made of natural materials, these will eventually wear out with use, and can be safely tossed into compost or used as fire starter.
