Paintbrushes made with sturdy horse hair bristles, an apple branch handle, and a handcrafted brass ferrule. These are functional art objects. Use these to create unique marks with acrylic, oil, underglaze, watercolor, and ink.

Choose from:

• Flat in Torched Apple

• Round in Raw Apple

Bristle length: approximately 1 1/4” long

Overall length: approximately 11” long

Please note: These are real branches, meaning they bear unique knots + limbs that make each needle tool one of a kind. No two are alike.

You will receive your chosen surface treatment and style, either round in raw apple or flat in torched apple. Please note, however, that we are unable to accommodate requests for selecting individual units.

Hand wash with a gentle soap, reshape, and allow to dry. The handles are waxed and will occasionally require a reapplication of wax or oil, once fully dry.

Horse hair is donated by a neighbor, trimmed from her beloved animals in Wallowa, Oregon.
