A paintbrush made with sturdy horse hair bristles, an extra long apple branch handle, and a handcrafted copper ferrule + brass pin. This is a functional art object. Use to create unique marks with acrylic, underglaze, watercolor, and ink. May not be best for use with solvents.

Handle length, including ferrule: 18 1/4” long

Bristle length: 2 1/4” long

Overall length: 20 1/2” long

Hand wash with a gentle soap, reshape, and allow to dry. The handle is waxed and will occasionally require a reapplication of wax or oil, once fully dry.

Horse hair is donated by a neighbor, trimmed from her beloved animals in Wallowa, Oregon.
