Pottery Throwing Gauge in Brass + Copper with Black Walnut or Myrtle.
Artisan pottery throwing gauge for consistently and accurately recreating a vessel size and shape. An essential tool for potters wanting to fine tune their work, this gauge allows for precise measurements throughout the throwing process.
The rigid brass pointer flips up and out of the way for easy removal of finished pots. The two brass arms are hand hammered giving them additional strength. Easily adjustable, and maintains positioning with simple hand tightening.
With an upgraded, heavier wooden base, this model does not need to be clamped into place. (But can be clamped for added stability, if desired.)

All of our wooden items are made from fallen or salvaged Oregon hardwood. This means every piece is entirely individual, bearing its own unique figuring, knots, texture, and grain. Each slab of wood that a pottery gauge is cut from is handpicked to assure durability, is making ready, and completely your own—No two are exactly alike.
