Potter’s Anvil made from Oregon black walnut.
Support the interior walls of your pot with the potter’s anvil, while shaping the outside with a paddle. Useful in both hand building and altering thrown forms. Can also be used to pound clay into molds.
Anvil Top: long x 3 1/2” in diameter x 1 1/2” thick
Handle: 4 1/4” long x 1 1/2” wide
Made to Order—Our clay anvils are made-to-order and take time to create. Items are made in the order they are received. Please allow 1-3 weeks of making time. We will keep you updated on the status of your order.
Wipe clean after use. Once fully dry, re-apply oil as needed to preserve wood and maintain luster.
