A diffuser in Foraged Pigment, soy wax flakes, and your scent of choice. Wooden scoop, tealight, and ceramic holder are included. This set makes for the ultimate gift, or indulge in a self-care ritual while you refresh your space.

These diffusers are coated in a thick and gritty layer of naturally pigmented stoneware slip. To gather the pigment for this slip, Sage simply had to take a walk from her studio to the cliff side that surrounds her property in Wallowa, Oregon. The exterior surface is flecked with terra cotta, yellow ochre, and cinder red over beige. The inside surface of the diffuser dish is lightly brushed with a clear glaze.

Place a tealight into the ceramic holder, carefully position in base of foraged pigment diffuser, and light candle. (We recommend using a candle-lighter.) Add 1 scoop of soy wax flakes and 5-10 drops of scent to dish. (More or less, to your liking.) Place dish on top of diffuser and enjoy.

One scoop of wax flake will diffuse slowly over about 15 hours of burn time.

• diffuser in Foraged Pigment, approximately 4 1/2” tall with a 4” wide dish

If using essential oils, be sure to fill the dish half full of water before adding 1-2 drops of essential oil. Be aware that the water will evaporate over time and need to be topped up. This allows the oils to be gently heated and maintain their aroma.

Rocks and pieces of raw pigment were allowed to remain intact in the slip throughout the firing process. Because of the techniques used, this is a delicate functional-artwork and should be used with minimal handling to preserve the materials encased within this bowl.
